Hunan Sisters
It all began in 2004 when nine families who knew nothing about one another traveled to China to receive their daughters. These girls have a special bond. Their families felt it was important they grow up together and remain close. After all, the knew each other long before they knew their families.
Then one day three of these families decided they weren't quite complete. So they made their intentions known to the powers that be in China and settled in for the wait. And they waited........ 4 years, 8 months and 4 days. It was a long wait. But it was worth every minute.
