The countdown continues, as well as the preparation. Although we feel like we are in pretty good shape with packing, etc., there are all kinds of little details that need to be done prior to our departure on Sunday. It will all get done and our trip will go great. We just have to keep a positive outlook! Current Stress Level (1-10) = 4 We received our itineraries today. It appears as if we will be holding our babies in our arms on March 31st (or maybe April 1st)! Including today, that is only 8 more days! We'd also like to tell you about the Lund family from Wisconsin who will be joining us on our adventure. They are adopting through a different agency that uses the same China program as ours and thus will be part of our travel group. This is their first child and we are very happy for them! We'll be meeting up with them in Beijing next week! If you get a chance, take a look at their blog and new, beautiful baby girl, Ariana Jaidyn. Thanks for the shout out, how sweet! Thank you also Tracie, Kevin, & Michelle for answers to my first-timer questions and ramblings. You all have been such a wonderful support and we are so happy to be sharing this journey with you.
ReplyDeleteCurrent Stress Level: 7 (I have 2 extra days to prepare so I am certain number will increase!)
Current Happiness Level: 10
I haven't been getting email notices but I think I've got that fixed now. Just so long as I figure it all out before you leave. :)
ReplyDeleteI will miss you all terribly while you're gone, I'm already not looking forward to not seeing you for so long. However, I feel so honored and blessed to have the opportunity to follow you and your friends on this journey. Thank you for sharing your joy with the rest of us.
Can't wait to see pics of these precious little girls in their mama's and daddy's arms.
Love you guys!
Dear Ms. Sisler,
ReplyDeleteAre you having a fun time in China? We liked looking at your photos on the website. Our favorite one is of the Chinese McDonalds! We also love the one of you and Lillian on the Great Wall wearing your Brookside t-shirt. We are so excited and happy for you. We can't wait to see pictures of you with baby Rose! We miss you!
Love,
