| Well, we finally landed in China. It was a long, 12 1/2 hour plane ride from Chicago to Beijing, but we are now here and just now have gotten settled into our hotel rooms. It's now almost 1:00 a.m. and Lillian, Sophi, Kari, and Jay are trying to go to sleep. They all hardly slept on the plane, so they ought to be tired, but the overall excitement of them being in China has them worked up a bit. Tomorrow, we start our Beijing sightseeing tour bright and early (8:30 a.m.). It should be fun. We'll write more tomorrow, but for now it is time to try and get some rest. Good night, all! |

ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear that you are there safe and sound! This morning the students were disagreeing on if Lillian was absent because she was in China. I told them that yes, you were and it was 8:15 at night there! They were so excited about that! Have fun sightseeing in Beijing!! We miss you all already!

I can imagine that your sight seeing tomorrow will be exciting and fun, but your likely to be packing a little extra weight (Lillian) around! I love following along on the blog!
